She also earned her MBA from Clemson University in 2000. Leigh has been a licensed CPA since 1996 and holds licenses in Georgia and in South Carolina. She is a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Leigh works with small businesses and individual clients to help them with a wide range of consulting, planning, accounting, tax, and QuickBooks issues.

Business Help

Renee has worked in both public and private accounting during her career. Jeff and his wife Angela have been happily married for over 35 years. Together they have a daughter, Austin, and a beautiful granddaughter, Caroline. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, hunting and fishing. As an Enrolled Agent, Penny Gibson is a tax expert and is specially qualified to help clients make sense of issues with the IRS, back taxes, and unfiled returns.

David M Haisten, CPA

He has numerous years experience in compilation and review of financial statements. And with the economy we’re facing now…it’s essential that the “right” professional handles your taxes and other financial matters. We are servants determined to serve business, non-profit, and individual clients with honesty, knowledge, and excellence. Having a working background in non-profit industries, she also enjoys working with non-profit organizations including Form 990 preparation. Growing up in Athens, Ga she is a die-hard Bulldog fan. In her free time, she enjoys church activities, crafts, going to the beach and spending time with family.

In addition to this, Matthew annually takes several
hours of contiuing education to be registered with the  IRS AFSP program, he is a Reporting Agent as well as an authorized IRS e-filer. Every tax preparation client is considered a friend of the business
and it is Matthew’s goal each year to make every person feel a part of the Redemption Accounting family. Angie joins the firm with over ten years tax experience and more than twenty-five years of accounting and payroll experience. She is a graduate of Clayton State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.

With the help of our 2022 hiring of Jessica our Bookkeeping Manager, we have expanded our
ability to serve many more bookkeeping clients while freeing time for more tax preparation. With this continual growth we have finally moved our offices to a larger space. We moved around the corner
and upstairs to 26 Mulberry St.. We have a reception area and new offices for our personel.

Annie, and her husband Michael, are lifelong residents of Griffin. They have two wonderful boys, Jones and Boyd, who attend Crescent Elementary School. They are also active members of Griffin First United Methodist Church.

She is enrolled to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Agent. She provides corporate and individual tax and accounting services and specializes in trusts and estates. She is also experienced with tax planning, business consulting, and QuickBooks assistance.

In her free time Annie enjoys volunteering in the community, going to the lake and beach, spending time with family and friends, and being a Georgia Bulldog fan. We are a full-service Accounting firm licensed in GA. We offer a broad range of services for business owners, executives, and independent professionals. Rachel with her husband Jerry have a combined family of three boys and the family dog (Boxer breed) is the only baby girl.

DBA “Redemption Accounting” remains
and thrives at 112 East 2nd Street in downtown Jackson, GA. The building completed renovations on the lofts and new icecream shop neighbor. Tax season
saw explosive growth for 2017 tax returns as well as bringing on new bookkeeping clients. Redemption Accounting now offers assistance to start up businesses in the
areas of incorporation, establishing bookkeeping systems and preparation for upcoming tax season issues. Matthew had the honor of marrying Lindsey in
early 2018. Redemption Accounting expects even more growth in 2019.

We are proud to have built a reputation for dependable and ethical business accounting and tax services in our community. Before coming to the firm, she worked for a regional brokerage bookkeeping jackson ga firm for ten years, five of those as a financial advisor. She graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
